Can Tourists Drive in Dubai?

Yes. Tourists can drive using their home licence for up to 6 months. Licence must be valid and in English or French – otherwise an International Driving Permit is required.

  • Sheikh Zayed Road: 100-120 km/h
  • Some motorways: up to 140 km/h where signed
  • School zones: 40 km/h strictly enforced

Salik Toll System
